World Cinematographers Association
A Global Network for Cinematic Vision and Visual Storytelling
The World Cinematographers Association (WCA) operates under the World House of Cinema Artists (WHCA) as a global platform for directors of photography, lighting designers, and visual specialists.
Cinematography is the language of vision — it shapes the mood, atmosphere, and emotional resonance of a film.
The WCA connects professionals and emerging talents worldwide, fostering collaboration, education, and the advancement of visual storytelling.

Our Core Programs
International Workshops on Lighting, Color, and Framing
We organize professional workshops and masterclasses on advanced cinematography techniques, including camera movement, lighting setups, color grading, and visual composition.
Participants gain practical skills, explore experimental approaches, and learn directly from acclaimed cinematographers.
Global Cinematography Archive
The WCA curates a digital archive showcasing exemplary cinematography, lighting techniques, and visual styles from independent and mainstream cinema worldwide.
This resource serves as both inspiration and reference for professionals, educators, and students.
