Collaboration Between Composers and Directors
A platform connecting composers and sound designers with directors and producers on international projects.

Support for Innovative and Experimental Audio Projects
The WCSAA provides mentorship, funding opportunities, and technical guidance for experimental and independent sound and music projects.

Membership Conditions
Membership is open to composers, sound designers, and audio artists who demonstrate professional skill, creativity, and a commitment to cinematic storytelling.
Applicants must:
Have at least one completed composition or sound design for a film or audiovisual project.
Submit audio samples, portfolio, or demo reels.
Uphold professional ethics and collaborative standards.
Membership Categories
Members are classified into three professional levels based on experience, portfolio, and international collaboration:
A.
Professional Composer / Sound Artist
Recognized for festival-selected, commercially released, or internationally distributed works.
Eligible to mentor, lead workshops, and represent WCSAA globally.
B.
Independent Composer / Sound Artist
Completed independent or student projects; eligible for collaboration, mentorship, and archive inclusion.
C.
Emerging Composer / Sound Artist
Early-stage professionals; eligible for workshops, mentorship, and project-based learning.
