Membership Conditions
Membership is open to documentary filmmakers, researchers, and non-fiction media creators who demonstrate creative, technical, and ethical excellence.
Applicants must:
Have completed at least one documentary project (short, feature, series, or investigative piece)
Submit a portfolio, link, or sample reel showcasing their work
Uphold professional ethics, accuracy, and collaborative standards
Membership Categories
Members are classified into three levels based on experience, portfolio, and international participation:
A.
Professional Documentary Filmmaker
Recognized for festival-selected, broadcasted, or internationally distributed works.
Eligible to mentor, lead workshops, and participate in global projects.
B.
Independent Documentary Filmmaker
Completed independent projects demonstrating creativity, research skills, and storytelling ability.
Eligible for archive inclusion, mentorship, and collaborative opportunities.
C.
Emerging Documentary Filmmaker
Early-stage creators developing their craft.
Eligible for workshops, guidance, and project-based learning.
