World Editors Association
The Heartbeat of Cinematic Storytelling
The World Editors Association (WEA) operates under the World House of Cinema Artists (WHCA) as a global platform for film editors and post-production specialists.
Editing is the heartbeat of cinema — shaping narrative flow, rhythm, pacing, and emotional resonance.
The WEA connects editors worldwide, fostering collaboration, education, and the elevation of professional standards in post-production.

Our Core Programs
International Editing Workshops and Festivals
The WEA organizes workshops, masterclasses, and international festivals focused on narrative editing, pacing, rhythm, and the creative use of digital tools.
Members develop practical skills, explore innovative editing techniques, and learn from acclaimed editors.
Global Collaboration Platform for Editors
A digital network enabling editors to collaborate on international projects, share expertise, and participate in cross-border post-production opportunities.
This platform supports independent editors and promotes global cooperation in cinematic storytelling.
